DESCRIPTION:The Peacock at Barlow (previously called The Old Pump) located in the village of Barlow\, just north of Chesterfield\, has just undertaken a £2m refurbishment programme and now boasts a great pub with great food with probably the best view of Derbyshire from a pub window! It is a free house with a great choice of beers and has 4\, but shortly to be\, 8 individually designed exceptional bedrooms. The last phase of the project due to be completed early in 2017 is its own micro-brewery.\nWe thought it would be great to celebrate the spirit of Christmas by inviting the county’s own famous Kinder Choir to present some wonderful Christmas songs\, that only the Kinder Choir can do so well\, and also to lead a sing along of carols for the pub regulars. Some Christmas nibbles will be available and for those looking for a bit more substantial food we will be serving a range of basket meals this evening. We are expecting quite a few to turn up so please come early.
